Triplejack Poker

What is Triplejack Poker?

Triplejack is a game of No-Limit Texas Hold 'Em, the poker game you've likely seen on TV

It is family friendy fun with 'monoploly' money

CHECK OUT THIS GREAT GAME AND MAKE NEW FRIENDS TOO

Triplejack is a FREE game. In contrast to most online poker rooms, the intention is not to add real money into the mix. It is intended to be fun, and not limit people from playing when they've reached some theoretical point of "empty wallet". So, to compensate, in Triplejack you're playing for score. Score is based on your average rate of profit, which means means a player who has played only 1000 hands of poker can have a higher score than someone who's played 10,000 hands, as long as he's made more money on a per-hand basis. It's actually more complicated than that, but that's the basic idea. A player with the most money in the game is not necessarily winning in score. It all depends on how fast they won their fortune.

Re-Buying & Banking

Re-buying:
Each player account starts with $500 in virtual chips. However, there is no theoretical limit to the number of times you can rebuy. As soon as you lose your $500, you can click the Rebuy button to withdraw another $500 and continue playing. You can view the scores page to see whether your profits outweigh your buy-ins or not, and whether it translates to a long-term profit or a loss.

Banking:
Each table has a buy-in limit. This is the amount of money you can sit at a table with. It helps to level the playing field. A player with $2,800 can have pretty even odds against someone with $500,000 if they play at a $3,000 table. In that case, the rich player would sit down with $3,000 and his remaining $497,000 would stay in the "bank". Banking happens automatically (assuming you have more than the buy-in amount) whenever you sit down. If the poorer player wins up to $5,000, he can then protect some of this money by standing up and sitting again, which would keep $2,000 in the bank, and put the other $3,000 on the table. You might prefer to keep accumulating money by winning and remaining seated, which could give you an advantage over players who still must sit down with only $3,000. It all depends on your style of play!
